Brine Hires Industry Veteran Dale Kohler as General Manager

Milford, MA, January 10, 2007 -- Brine announced today that Dale Kohler has been hired as General Manager for Brine, Corp. In this role, Kohler will oversee Brine's day to day operations as well as and finance, sales, marketing, IT, and product development.

A Johns Hopkins University graduate, Kohler played lacrosse there from 1973-1976 at Johns Hopkins, achieving All-America recognition. Kohler was selected Team Captain and was a member of the 1974 NCAA Men's Division I Championship team in 1974. A Greater Baltimore Chapter Lacrosse Hall of Fame Inductee in 2006-2007, he is also a member of the US Lacrosse Manufacturers' Industry Council.

A Baltimore, Maryland native, Dale spent 20 years working in the Information Technology industry for IBM and Legent Software in a variety of sales, sales management and senior management roles.

In 1995, he moved into the Sporting sporting Goods goods manufacturing arena, joining STX in sales management and marketing. Over the past eleven years, Kohler was instrumental in developing and growing the company's lacrosse and field hockey business, and he holds several industry patents. Most recently, Kohler served as STX's Executive Vice President and General Manager, overseeing product development, sales management, product marketing and sourcing.
